Nous avons d’abord visionné un film qui explique le fonctionnement de l’usine. De cette salle, nous avions un magnifique point de vue sur le barrage.
puis nous avons commencé la visite avec le dégrillage, la salle de flottaison ( introduction de produits coagulants qui retiennent les particules en suspension). 
Ensuite les bassins où on traite l’eau avec du charbon actif, cela permet au charbon de capter les nitrates.
Puis la salle de supervision de l’usine. De cet endroit, on peut contrôler le fonctionnement de l’usine, la sécurité de l’usine mais également le réseau de distribution de l’eau.
Nous avons ensuite rejoint la salle où se trouvent les pompes qui envoient l’eau vers les réservoirs ou les châteaux d’eau, l’étape qui précède celle ou nous ouvrons le robinet.
A la suite de cette visite, nous avons refait le point sur le cycle naturel de l’eau et son cycle domestique (le petit cycle).
Nous commençons à prendre conscience que si tout le monde se responsabilisait en consommant davantage “au naturel” tous ces traitements ne seraient pas utiles. L’usine n’aurait qu’à récupérer l’eau, la filtrer puis l’envoyer vers nos maisons…
