Jeudi, tous les élèves de l’école ont participé à la journée « Tous à vélo » . Pour mêler loisir et apprentissage, nous avons bénéficié des interventions du club de cyclotourisme de Plancoët et d’une intervenante venue parler de sécurité routière avec les élèves.
Lors de cette journée, les CE ont réalisé un parcours avec leur vélo avec slaloms et franchissements d’obstacles.
En fin de matinée, ils ont testé leurs connaissances sur les panneaux de signalisation et les règles de sécurité routière.
A la suite de cette journée, les élèves ont reçu chacun un diplôme attestant de leur participation à cette journée.
A cette occasion vos enfants ont également été sensibilisés à l’importance d’avoir le matériel adéquat lors de sorties à vélo (port d’un casque correctement ajusté, à la bonne taille, port de gants, contrôle des freins, des pneus, du dérailleur).
Concernant l’ajustement du casque vos enfants ont appris à :
–ajuster la taille du casque avec la mollette de réglage située à l’arrière du casque (la tête ne doit pas « flotter » dans le casque).
–ajuster les sangles : il faut régler leurs longueurs afin qu’elles puissent former un « Y » de chaque côté des oreilles.
– Au niveau de la mentonnière, serrez raisonnablement. Si vous pouvez glisser 2 doigts entre la sangle et le menton c’est que le réglage est bon.
Cette journée a été également l’occasion de participer à un challenge entre écoles : comptabiliser le plus de kilomètres à vélo ou à pieds entre tous les élèves. Les CE ont réalisé 179 km !
