Mardi 1er octobre 2019, les élèves des écoles privées de Matignon, le Guildo et St Pôtan se sont retrouvés à St Jacut afin de participer à une opération éco-citoyenne de nettoyage de la plage du rougeret et de ses alentours (commune et chemin de douaniers).
Comme chaque année, les enseignantes ont le souci de développer, chez leurs élèves, des valeurs de respect de l’environnement et de solidarité.
Cette journée intitulée « journée eau propre » est le point de départ d’un projet d’année sur le thème de l’eau. Les élèves découvriront le cycle de l’eau, le circuit de l’eau potable mais aussi comment préserver ce bien précieux qu’est « l’eau ». Le fleuve côtier de l’Arguenon guidera les recherches et les découvertes des CE-CM. C’est pourquoi nous avons choisi le site de St Jacut qui est l’estuaire de l’Arguenon : quels sont les déchets que l’on trouve sur la plage ? dans les rues ? Comment sont-ils arrivés là ?
C’est donc avec sourire et motivation que les élèves se sont lancés dans une grande opération de nettoyage de la plage pour les plus jeunes, et de la commune de St Jacut pour les plus grands.
Après le pique nique « zéro déchet », les maternelles sont retournés à l’école.
Les plus grands, eux, se sont retrouvés par groupes pour mener à bien 3 missions :
– créer un land art, 
– imaginer un refrain et une chorégraphie pour encourager les gens à prendre soin de l’eau
Et citer 5 actions pour respecter l’eau. Ils ont ensuite présenté leurs créations à l’ensemble des élèves.
Puis, pour se détendre, tout le monde a participé à un grand jeu.
