Tout d’abord les différentes sources d’énergie permettant la production d’électricité : l’eau, le vent, le soleil, la chaleur et l’uranium.
Nous avons ensuite pu suivre le trajet de l’électricité de l’usine de production à notre maison.
Les unités de mesure du courant :
– le volt : consommation
-L’ampère : l’intensité
-Le Watt : la tension
Nous avons fait un jeu pour classer les appareils électriques en fonction de ce que produit l’électricité soit : elle chauffe (le four, le sèche cheveux…) elle permet le son et l’image (radio, télé…) elle entraine un moteur (aspirateur, réfrigérateur) ou alors elle permet l’éclairage (les lampes).
Au niveau de la sécurité, nous savons qu’il y a des règles à respecter avec l’électricité et entre autres de respecter les tensions indiquées sur les appareils électriques, tous les habitants de la maison doivent savoir où se trouve le disjoncteur en cas de besoin ….
Nous savons également que par des petits gestes quotidiens nous pouvons économiser de l’électricité :
* Pour le chauffage : il ne faut pas trop chauffer les pièces (environ 19 °), il faut isoler les portes et fenêtres, la nuit il faut fermer les volets, lorsqu’on est absent il faut mettre le chauffage en mode « éco » ou « hors gel ».
*Pour les équipements : il faut remplir au maximum la machine à laver, prendre des appareils économes (A ou B), il ne faut pas laisser les appareils en veille lorsqu’ils ne sont pas utilisés.
*Pour l’éclairage : il faut éteindre les lumières en sortant d’une pièce, on peut profiter de la lumière naturelle en ouvrant au maximum les volets, on utilise des ampoules basse consommation.
*Pour le froid et la cuisson : limiter les ouvertures de la porte de four durant la cuisson pour éviter la perte de chaleur, ne pas mettre un plat chaud dans le réfrigérateur, mettre les couvercles sur les casseroles.
